Here's some pics of The Motorcycle Timeline Exhibit from the AMCA Rhinebeck National Saturday June 9th, 2006.

Pictured here is my 1939 EL, behind that is Al Veverka's original paint 1939 Indian Chief New York World's Fair Special, next is Rick Cloud's 1939 HD UL and fourth in you can still see Patty Cramer's original paint clipper blue 1940 HD ULH.

Check out these honies! On the left is Luke Walker's 1926 Indian OHV Prince factory racer followed by Dave Minerva's 1927 HD factory hillclimb bobber and Luke Walker again with a 1928 Indian bobber. Special thanks to both of those guys for going way out of their way to help in the success of the timeline.

First up is Frank Westfall's amazing 1912 Henderson four cylinder. This is the first year for the Henderson and note the tandem seats, the passenger rides up front! Next is Bill Nugent's 1913 Sears and Dennis Craig's 1913 Thor.
The Motorcycle Timeline Exhibit was a big success and I will be doing this for the 2008 Rhinebeck National. I recieved so many compliments and thanks that it's success must continue on and continue to grow. I created the Motorcycle Timeline with the intent of giving every AMCA member a chance to participate in this "theme" and show off their bike in a different way than ever before. Everyone's bike had a purpose and a place in this event. It was amazing to see such a melting pot of motorcycles come together over such a vast array of years, conditions and makes to flow so well together and comprise one special thing, possibly one of the greatest motorcycles shows ever!
The other side of the coin in creating the Motorcycle Timeline Exhibit was to give any spectator, club member or not, the chance to see something that will appeal and amaze any motorcycle fan. From the purists to the guy who just bought his first motorcycle, you can see this exhibit and appreciate where your own motorcycle came from.
Motorcycles from 1896 to 1972 were on show and nearly one from every year was displayed. I only missed completing the run by 6 bikes and I can't wait to see who and what fills those spots for next year. a grand total of 140 bikes made up the first ever Motorcycle Timeline and I thank everyone of those bike owners for coming out and being part of something truly special.
I must take a moment to let you know that I had some big help down the stretch to make this event what it was in addition to those who put their bikes on display. I just want to thank those people for their hard work and paitence in assisting me with this event.
