This original paint, un- restored 1948 FL that had been in storage since 1960.  After a few hours of TLC it fired right up and ran great.  What an awesome machine.
Just 16,000 miles on this one.
This is an original paint, special ordered police silver 1948 E model Panhead in civilian trim with 8900 miles.  Love that barn fresh look!  This one is back on the road thanks to The 74 Shop.

Here's an original paint Hi-Fi Turquoise and Birch White 1967 FLH with 9000 miles on it.  Many hours went into making this bike road worthy again.

Here's another original paint special order bike being treated with loving care here at The 74 Shop.  We are your home for Panheads.  This is an all original Police Panhead from Jefferson City, MO known as the "White Kitten".

Me and a 42 FL knucklehead

Thanks for checking out my website.  I specialize in 1936 - 1972 HD Big Twins.  Let me know if I can be of service to you.  My real passion is rebuilding & detailing original paint motorcycles, especially Panheads.  This website will give you a good overview of the work I do.  Please give me a call if you have some questions.  I'd love to earn your business.

This is an original paint, un-restored 1961 FL Panhead with 14,000 miles.  Certainly the nicest, most original 1961 Panhead I've ever seen.

My 39EL out for a spin.  The bike hit 77,777 miles that day.  Lucky 7's.

Check out this old rider.  This is a 1941 FL Knucklehead with a factory sidecar and 3 speed with reverse tranny.  Over 70,000 miles on this rig.

Here's an original paint unrestored 1957 period modified panhead with all the trimmings possible. It has only 248 original miles.  This is the real deal!

Pictured below is myself along with my wife Stacey and mother Peg Barber taking a break during the first annual Joe Barber Memorial Road Run in May of 2005.

Here's an original paint Hi-Fi Turquoise 1959 FLH that was completely rebuilt in 2006 and has several thousand miles on it since completion.  The bike has now earned AMCA Winner's Circle Status and runs great.
